Pride and Prejudice 2005
Starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen this 2005 film is more rumbustious and down to earth than the BBC mini series. The first proposal is done in the pouring rain with an amazing backdrop. Donald Sutherland makes for an interesting Mr Bennett. We love the second proposal scene, soooo romantic. A great Pride and Prejudice gift.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
The original Pride and Prejudice written by Jane Austen and published in 1813. For over two hundred years this has been one of the most popular fiction books in the English language. This edition has some lovely illustrations. A great way to introduce a new fan to her most famous work.
